Returning from a long injury layoff, KL Rahul was drafted into the Zimbabwe tour to get some much needed practice ahead of the Asia Cup later this month. However, it has not panned out as intended with KL not getting a chance to bat in the first game before being dismissed for just 1 in the second.
KL was seen with his pads on even after he was dismissed and later hit the nets after the game.

Kaif pointed out that Rahul had the batting pads in his hand after the match, which indicated that the India captain was heading to the nets for practice. “He is a fantastic batter. He was going for knocking when the match got over. He had the pads in his hands and was going straight to the nets. He is trying to be in touch, get the rhythm back.”
