Rohit, Rishabh Pant and Axar Patel played good knocks to help India set 192-run target. With the ball, Avesh Khan, Arshdeep Singh and Ravi Bishnoi were excellent as India routed Windies by 59 runs. Chasing a 192-run target on a slow pitch, West Indies were off to a decent start with Brandon King going after Bhuvneshwar Kumar. But it was a day of redemption for Avesh Khan. After being too expensive in the previous matches, he dismissed King to start with. He opened the floodgates with the wicket. Avesh returned for his second over and dismissed Devon Thomas.

IND beat WI 4th T20 Highlights: But it was Nicholas Pooran who showed promise for West Indies. He took on Axar Patel for 22 runs in one over. However, he was undone by his strike partner Kyle Mayers. A terrible mix-up saw Pooran lose his wicket to an easy run-out. Then on, there was no turning back. West Indies lost wickets at regular intervals.
Rovman Powell (24 off 16), Shimron Hetmyer (19 off 19), and Jason Holder (13 off 9) were the only notable ones. But the credit should go to how India bowled. Axar Patel made a brilliant comeback while Ravi Bishnoi, Arshdeep Singh and Avesh Khan were exceptional.

Earlier, sent to bat, India continued their aggressive T20 template. Rohit Sharma was on flying start, smashing 16-ball 33 before he lost his wicket to Akeal Hosein. With Suryakumar Yadav, he added 53 runs for the opening wicket in just 26 balls.
While India’s scoring rate dipped after the powerplay and wicket of Suryakumar (24 off 14), Rishabh Pant took charge. He played a patient knock off 31-ball 44, adding 47 runs with Deepak Hooda and 38 runs with Sanju Samson (30* off 23). In the end, it was Axar Patel, who smashed an 8-ball 20 as India posted 191/5.
