IND vs SL 3rd ODI: Team India aiming for a whitewash
With two comfortable wins under their belt, the men in blue will look to inflict whitewash on Sri Lanka. India won the opening ODI in Guwahati by 76 runs in Guwahati. In the second ODI, India bowlers bowled brilliantly to bowl out Sri Lanka for less than 120 runs. The visiting team did provide fightback but KL Rahul painful knock of 64 ensured Team India crossed the finish line.
With series already pocketed, Rohit Sharma will look to test the bench strength. There have been calls for inclusion of inform Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav. Both player could likely get the chance to play in the final ODI. Kishan could open the innings with Rohit, while Surya could take place of Shreyas Iyer.
Kuldeep Yadav performed well in the second match and is likely to retain his place. Arshdeep Singh was rested for the Kolkata match. However, the left-arm seamer could be drafted back into the side with either Umran Malik or Mohammad Siraj likely to make the way.
