Earlier, The left-arm pacer injured himself while fielding in the 1st ODI. He landed awkwardly on his shoulder and did not take part in the rest of the match. Dasun Shanaka had to turn to Dhananjaya de Silva to cover his overs.
The reports suggest that Madushanka has dislocated his right shoulder. He was subsequently sent for an MRI and an X-Ray on Wednesday. The SriLankan team Tweets and confirms that Dilshan Madushanka will miss the 2nd ODI in Kolkata, as he is in the recovery phase.
