After Shahbaz Ahmed, Washington Sundar and Mohammed Siraj had wrecked the South African top order, Kuldeep Yadav put on a show of classic chinaman bowling on Tuesday. Introduced after the 20th over, Kuldeep ran webs around the Proteas batsmen, first cleaning up the returning Andile Phehluwayo.
The left-arm wrist spinner kept the runs in check as South Africa failed to get a read on him. After Phehlukwayo, the Delhi Capitals star wrapped up the tail, with Anrich Nortje, Bjorn Fortuin and Marco Jansen all falling to him. He was the pick of the Indian bowler,s finishing with figures of 18/4 in his spell. Yadav finishes the series as the leading wicket-taker with six scalps in three games at an impressive average of 17.67 .
