Rassie van der Dussen and Rishabh Pant have been at it with the duo being in the thick of controversy during the IND vs SA 2nd Test. Dussen was ruled out despite a controversial catch in the 1st innings. When Pant walked out to bat in the second innings, Dussen was in his face at short leg, sledging him. Pant furiously hit back saying, “If you have half-knowledge, then keep your mouth shut.”
Dussen’s plan however worked like w charm as Rishabh Pant was clearly rattled, and dismissed for a duck much to the elation of the South African batter. Pant wasn’t keen to let it go, and was at his chirpy best behind the stumps. He first trolled captain Dean Elgar, brandishing him as selfish, before targeting Van Der Dussen as he played out his first few deliveries very nervously.
The South African however managed to stay put, the remaining 11 not out at Stumps. Such was Pant’s retaliation that former Australian spinner Brad Hogg also commented the same on social media. Here’s a look at their altercation:
