On Friday, Bhuvneshwar Kumar can go clear of Badree and Southee after failing to break the record in Vizag. The pacer bounced back strongly in the 2nd T20 after a poor first match in Delhi.

Bhuvneshwar was the silver lining for India in Cuttack despite an off day as he 4 wickets for just 13 runs. He bagged two wickets in the powerplay alone. However, he will have to lead India once again for any chance to stop the slide against South Africa.

While India did end their losing streak against South Africa with a win in Vizag, Bhuvneshwar was unable to repeat his heroics of four wickets. He only scalped Kehsav Maharaj in the third T20I.
