Shikhar Dhawan, Avesh Khan, Shreyas Iyer, Kuldeep Yadav and Shardul Thakur were pictured enjoying dinner time in each other’s company just a day before the IND vs SA 3rd ODI in Delhi. Having arrived in Delhi on Monday, the players were afforded a rest from training and the quintet went out for dinner together. Shikhar Dhawan shared a picture from the same, calling it ‘team bonding’.

India leveled the series in Ranchi on Sunday with Shreyas Iyer slamming a fine century, while Ishan Kishan fell short on 93. The first game saw India lose by 9 runs despite an heroic effort from Sanju Samson. Dhawan hasn’t ben amongst the runs this series but will aim to get runs under his belt in front of his home ground in Delhi.
The Southpaw has just scored 4 and 13 runs in the last two matches. For Shikhar, such series in India colours is always a chance to deliver and impress the selectors. The ODI World Cup is also scheduled for next year, and the Delhi man is targeting a slot at the top of the order.
However, weather could play spoilsport in Delhi. The city has witnessed regular rains in the last couple of days. On Tuesday, there are chances of thunderstorms as well.
