Such kind of celebrations does not come as a surprise. The India-Pakistan rivalry is the biggest in world cricket. Such close win will always bring raw emotions out of the players.
A three-minute video was posted by Pakistan Cricket Board social media team on Twitter a couple of hours. The video showed the tensed faces of their players in the dressing room as the last over was played in the middle.
Their expressions were understood. Pakistan just needed seven runs in the final over off Arshdeep Singh. Captain Azam looked restless, watching his players in the middle as he stood in the dressing room. Others including Naseem Shah, Shadab Khan among others were excited and cheering the team on.
After Ali hit a four to bring down the equation to two in last four balls. Azam and the rest of the players were involved in high fives. Some of them slammed in the floor in excitement.
Eventually when the winning run was hit by Iftikhar Ahmed, Shabad was in an incredible state of joy. In fact all of them were pumped up and showed raw emotions in the dressing room after picking up the epic win.
With this win, Pakistan have emerged strong favourites to reach the Asia Cup final. India will play Sri Lanka in the next match, which has now become a must-win.
