What has Ishan Kishan’s rescue act done? The answer is simple, Sanju Samson’s hopes to return to ODIs have ended. SKY’s spot in the middle order diminished and KL Rahul’s spot in the team has become difficult.
Sanju Samson has been the traveling reserve for the Indian team in the Asia Cup. With KL Rahul missing for the first 2 games, the BCCI Selection committee has put their trust in Ishan Kishan ahead of Samson and the former has responded handsomely. With KL returning after the Nepal game, there is barely any chance for Samson to get his chance.
