Fielding at the slips, Suryakumar was simply expectational as he completed two brilliant catches on the bowling of skipper Hardik Pandya. Hardik dismissed Finn Allen and Glenn Phillips with his excellent new bowling skills. Not just slips, Yadav also completed a decent catch at the deep mid-wicket boundary.
Shivam Mavi bowled a hard-length deliver as the Kiwi skipper Mitchell Santner tried to slog it towards the deep-midwicket boundary but he failed to clear the boundary as Yadav completed a well-adjudged catch near the boundary cushions.

With the help of century from Gill and some excellent attacking intent by other batters, the Men in Blue also stroked their highest score in the 20-over format. Team India has been blooming in the T20 format since Hardik Pandya has taken over the captaincy role. He is yet to lose a series under his leadership. Meanwhile, the home side has extended its dominance in the bilateral series in home as they won yet another series in India.
