IND vs NZ: Yuzvendra Chahal & Ish Sodhi share a laugh as players wait for the rain to relent – Not only New Zealand players but a few India players like Sanju Samson and Yuzvendra Chahal were also seen enjoying the New Zealand players playing Football and Volleyball. Leg spinners Chahal and Sodhi also shared laughter, as the spin twins had fun banter. For the unreserved, it is raining continuously in Wellington and the outfield is wet.

Although the official announcement of the match being abandoned is yet to come, it seems the rain will have its final say, as the weather has remained cloudy on most parts of November 18 in Wellington. India assembled a new-look squad with a few youngsters like Sanju Samson, Shubman Gill, Ishan Kishan, Umran Malik, and Mohammed Siraj in it. Hardik Pandya is leading the squad as BCCI have begun its mission T20 World Cup 2024. The three T20Is will also give selectors a fair idea of Pandya’s vastly improving captaincy credentials.
