“We had released around 1,500 tickets for online sales. But within just 15 or 20 minutes, all of them were sold. So you can certainly imagine how the response has been from the fans,” CAB treasurer Debashish Ganguly was quoted by The Telegraph.
“Given the current scenario, it will be very surprising if not all of the allotted (47,000) seats are filled up. The respective clubs have also already picked up 30 per cent of the tickets reserved for them,” he added.
Chief minister Mamata Banerjee is also on the list of dignitaries invited to attend the game.

Tickets Sold Out for IND-NZ Series: The 3rd T20 at Eden Gardens will be played on Sunday & only 70% capacity of the stadium will be allowed for the spectators. The first match of the serires will be played today at Jaipur & tickets for the match again as usual are sold out. Same is the case with 2nd T20 in Ranchi – with no tickets available for the match.
