1st wicket: Shubman Gill
Shubman Gill was the first wicket for Ajaz Patel who got caught out to Ross Taylor in the slips during the 27th over.
Cheteshwar Pujara got out to the fifth delivery he faced. He was bowled for duck by Ajaz Patel.
India captain Virat Kohli became a victim of a controversial lbw decision. The ball had nicked the bat before reaching the pads but the third umpire remained adamant about the decision.
Hero of the first match Shreyas Iyer returned to the pavilion at the score of 18 runs. Iyer was caught by Tom Blundell on the fourth ball of 47th over.
Ajaz Patel took his first wicket and completed a fifer in the form of Wriddhiman Saha’s dismissal. He was lbw out at the score of 27.

Ajaz Patel got rid of R Ashwin for a duck off the very next ball. However, he missed out on a hat-trick.
Mayank Agarwal’s brilliant innings of 150 runs came to an end on the last ball of the 100th over. He was caught out by Tom Blundell.
Ajaz Patel also finished the brilliant innings of Akshar Patel (52). The latter scored a crucial half-century to take the team to a good score. He was given lbw out after a DRS challenge.
Jayant Yadav (12) threw his wicket while trying to hit a big shot. He was caught by Rachin Ravindra off Ajaz’s delivery.
And now it is the turn of the historic wicket, which brought Ajaz Patel on par with Anil Kumble and Jim Laker of England. He became the third bowler to take 10 wickets in an innings. The 10th wicket was taken by Ajaz in the form of Mohammad Siraj (4). The latter tried to play a big shot, which went straight into the hands of Rachin Ravindra and Ajaz registered his name in history books.
