Umran Malik is known for his trademark fast deliveries. In the first match against Ireland, he got his debut but was pretty unimpressive after giving away 14 runs in the opening over. However today in his first over, he gave away 6 runs while in the second over he gave away 14 runs.

In the first over he went on to bowl a delivery that marked 146 kmph on the speedometer. Though wickets have been missing from Malik, however, the Kashmir Express went on bowling deliveries at his own trademark fiery pace. The second over saw the Irish batters hitting Malik for 14 runs, but Malik took the limelight when his delivery clocked 151 kmph on the speedometer.
In the third over of his spell, Umran Malik continued his fiery spell and finally claimed his maiden T20I wicket when he dismissed Lorcan Tucker. A full-length delivery of 140 clicks saw Tucker playing a wayward and hitting the ball high in the air. Substitute fielder Yuzvendra Chahal made no mistake to take a catch and there gifted Malik his maiden wicket.
