Following their practice game against Leicestershire, Team India have departed for Birmingham for the IND vs ENG 5th Test. The team took a special bus to travel to Edgbaston, where the Test match will be held.
Wicket-keeper KS Bharat shared a story on his social media, giving fans the update that the team were travelling to the venue.
- Team India finished their practice game against Leicestershire on Sunday.
- On Monday, Team India left for Birmingham via road.
- Captain Rohit Sharma stayed back in Leicester after testing positive for COVID-19.
- Rohit will be in isolation until June 29, and will travel to Birmingham post isolation.
- India will play the 5th Test in Edgbaston starting July 1.

Captain Rohit Sharma is not expected to arrive in Birmingham until later this week, with the Indian captain currently in quarantine. Rohit tested positive on Saturday and will only be out of isolation by June 29 provided he tests negative.
India meanwhile have called up Mayank Agarwal as a backup ahead of the game.
India are scheduled to play at Edgbaston starting on July 1. The one-off Test match is the rescheduled 5th match from last year’s tour, which was postponed due to COVID-19.
