India had a near-perfect Sunday as the Men in Blue sealed their place in the semifinals of the T20 World Cup. Netherlands’ shock win vs SouthAfrica had already guaranteed India a final-four finish, but Rohit Sharma’s side delivered a 71-run mauling to Zimbabwe at the MCG.

Having completed the formalities, India will now take on England at Adelaide on November 10. The Indian team will leave for Adelaide on Monday. Incidentally, the Men in Blue were in the city before, beating Bangladesh in a rain-marred game.
With a short break in between, Rohit Sharma and Co will get a day off from training having travelled back to Adelaide. The Men in Blue should resume training in full flow from Tuesday, 48 hours before the India vs England Match.
India had a relatively easy group and eventually finished top of the standings. England would however prove to be a difficult nut to crack as Rohit Sharma and Co eye for a first final since 2014. England have made it to the semis of every event since 2016 and India will have to be on their toes for this contest.

India on Sunday, November 6 defeated Zimbabwe by 71 runs in the last Super 12 match. With this win, India consolidated the top spot in Group 2, hence fixing their last-four fixture with England, the Group 1 runners-up. Both teams will lock horns at Adelaide Oval on Thursday, November 10. This will be their first meeting in the T20 WC in over a decade, since their last meeting in the T20 World Cup 2012.
