Previously Hardik Pandya was brilliant with the ball as he scalped a four-fer. He went on to dismiss deadly English batters involving the likes of Jason Roy, Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler, and Liam Livingstone. Following his antics with the ball, he scored a gritty fifty to keep India in the fight for contention to win the series.
Pandya came to bat when India was nervously trembling at 72-4 with the entire top order being dismissed. With Rishabh Pant as partner, Pandya not only scored his well-deserved half-century but also went on to register a 133-run partnership.

It should, however, be noted that Hardik is the only Indian cricketer to have achieved this feat outside the Indian sub-continent. Hardik also became the first player ever to score a fifty and take a four-fer in both T20Is and ODIs.

Hardik played a fine knock of 71 off 55 deliveries before a sublime catch from Ben Stokes dismissed him.
