After getting Kohli a whopping four times in the 2014 series, Kohli bounced in style in India’s 2018 tour of England. He did not get out to Anderson and scored a staggering 593 runs. The former India captain though struggled in the 2021 series as he scored just 218 runs. He did not get out to Anderson though and managed to play him well.
Anderson would surely love to make a comeback and try to get Kohli out this time. He will try to yet again expose Kohli’s famed off-side trouble.

India off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has dismissed England skipper Ben Stokes a staggering 12 times. If the England skipper gets set then he will be dangerous to dislodge. If Ashwin manages to get Stokes early then India can make early inroads.

Pujara and Broad are both in the form of their lives. While the former has hit runs for fun in County Championship season 2022, the latter picked up 12 wickets in the 3 Tests against New Zealand. Pujara is India’s most dependable batter overseas. He has to yet again deliver if India hunt for a rare Test series win in England.
The right-hand batter has to negate the threat of Stuart Broad though. The right-arm pacer has dismissed him four times. If Pujara can negate the swing and seam of Broad early on in the innings, then it would be a long day for England on the field.

He also has an upper hand over Root as he has dismissed him six times.
