Having a smile on his face, Labuschagne missed a Ravindra Jadeja delivery on the opening ball of the sixth over. The batter should have shouldered his arms to the delivery, Kohli said from the slip cordon. Notably, it was the first ball by Jadeja that Labuschagne faced.
Later, Labuschagne played a cover drive that resulted in a four, and Kohli praised him while glancing at the replays. While Labuschagne was pleased to receive Kohli’s plaudits, he also claimed that the former Indian captain taught him many strokes.

Australian batsman Marnus Labuschagne, who made 49 and led the Aussies in runs, told SEN Test Cricket about the interaction with Kohli.
“It’s always nice when Virat thinks you’re playing a decent shot there. There’s a few shots there today that I’ve definitely learned from him,” Marnus said.
“It’s nice to be on the same field and competing and we’re here to win the series so we’ve got to make sure we scrap as hard as we possibly can and fight our way back in and put in a special performance with the bat in the second dig,” he added.
IND vs AUS, DAY 1 Nagpur Test
At the end of Day 1 in Nagpur, Australia found themselves in a difficult situation after being bowled out for 177 runs and only managing to take one wicket as India dug in at 1-77.
Late on the opening day for the Australians, debutant Todd Murphy removed KL Rahul and claimed his first Test wicket. On 56, Rohit Sharma is still unbeaten.
