The Punjab Cricket Association posted an interesting video of Kohli and Suryakumar batting at the nets side by side. The video gave a glimpse of how Kohli is gradually getting into the groove ahead of the 1st T20. He did not look too aggressive, but played some exquisite flick shots and some lovely on the up shots as well.

It resembled how Kohli normally starts his innings in a match. He does not go after the bowler from ball one. The same was witnessed in the video.
However, in the adjacent net, Suryakumar was in absolute mood to belt the ball. In fact, he is the same during the game. He does not even need a sighter. The Mumbaikar starts taking on the bowlers immediately, which has become his hallmark.
In fact, Suryakumar is in the form of his life. He has even drawn comparison with AB de Villiers for his ability to play all-round shots. In the video as well, the batter has middled the balls to perfection. Some lovely cover drives and a characteristic shot behind the wicket made it for a delightful viewing.
The two players are key to India in the series when it comes to the batting order. Kohli will be responsible for setting up the tempo at the top of the order while Suryakumar will do so at the fan end of the innings.
With both the players in the good form, these are good signs for India heading into the series and the T20 World Cup.
