Border-Gavaskar Trophy Series

Team India is the defending champion after defeating Australia 2-1 in 2020–21 thanks to outstanding batting from wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant.

Australia has not won in India since 2004-05.

The rivalry between Australia and India has grown exponentially over time. It is anticipated to be another thrilling series because a spot in the WTC Final is at stake. In their last three efforts, India has not failed to win the BGT.

Beginning on February 9 in Nagpur, the Australia Border-Gavaskar Trophy tour of India will get underway. The following three Test matches for Team India will be held at Delhi, Dharamsala, and Ahmedabad. The Border-Gavaskar Trophy, which consists of a four-match Test series, will likewise be discontinued after this year.
