IND BAN 2nd Test: Allan Donald devises a special plan to stop Virat Kohli from breaking Test century drought says “Won’t give him any chance”

IND BAN 2nd Test: Donald’s pep talk to Bangladeshi bowlers says get your line and lengths right – Kohli’s weakness in Test cricket is balls that are bowled outside the off stump and getting out to left-arm spinners. In the first Test left-arm spin bowler, Taijul got the better of Kohli. Donald’s message is clear for the boys, maintain tight line and lengths.

“It’s like bowling to Tendulkar & you know when that man walks to the crease the value of getting it right is absolutely paramount. When the great Virat Kohli steps up & you miss a chance against him you’re gonna suffer because they don’t give many chances after that.”

“I think you just feel the presence when these people(Virat & KL Rahul) walk to the crease it’s like bowling to Lara, you know that all of a sudden the temperature goes up and up. Virat is hungry, he wants to leave this Test series with a hundred under his belt.”

IND vs BAN: Kohli sweats out in training session after the first Test, Eyes to get back in lucky ground Dhaka

India won the 1st test vs Bangladesh, but Virat Kohli failed to click. The former Indian captain was disappointed with his show and it seems he is committed to making amends in the 2nd TEST. As soon as the 1st test ended, Kohli, instead of packing his bags – went straight to the nets. He spent almost 1-hour practicing & was seen ironing out a few issues.

Virat Kohli has impressive numbers against Bangladesh in his test career. He has so far scored 392 runs in just five innings at an average of 78.40 including two centuries.

The last match will be an opportunity for him to surpass current coach Rahul Dravid and become second highest run-getter against Bangladesh.

Dravid has scored 560 runs in ten innings against Bangladesh, and Kohli needs 168 runs to surpass his total. If Kohli surpasses Dravid, then he will have only legendary Sachin Tendulkar ahead of him in the list. While Kohli has scored a lot of ODI runs in Dhaka, this will be the first time he will play a Test match in Mirpur Stadium.
