His participation for the remainder of the series is in the dark, with tests scheduled. Meanwhile, Shorfiful Islam is named backup.

“Taskin is ruled out from the opening game of the ODIs as his back pain recurred. We will see his progress before taking further decision regarding his participation,” BCB chief selector Minhajul Abedin told Cricbuzz on Thursday.
