Gulf Giants beat MI Emirates by 5 wickets to retake the lead of the points table. They have now qualified for the playoffs.
Desert Vipers
The Vipers have previously sealed their spot in the playoffs. But with Gulf Giants beating MI Emirates, the Vipers now go down to the second spot on the points table.
MI Emirates
Having played 8 matches and with 9 points Emirates are in the third position. Emirates needs to win 1 match out of their 2 remaining matches to qualify. However, Kieron Pollard-led Emirates will be eyeing to finish in the top two spots.

Sharjah Warriors
Warriors have played 8 matches and won only 3 games. Out of their remaining 3 matches, the Warriors need to win all 2 games to smoothly qualify for the playoffs, or else they will depend on other teams to qualify. They are in the fourth position in the points table.
Dubai Capitals
Capitals also have the same scenario as the Sharjah Warriors. Having played 8 matches and won 3 games, the Capitals need to win their remaining games. If Capitals fail to do so they will be depending on other teams and NRR for the qualifications. The Capitals are fifth in the points table.
Abu Dhabi Knight Riders
Knight Riders are the least-performing team in the tournament. They lost their recent game against Dubai Capitals and are placed bottom last at the points table. They need to tinker about their strategy and plans to come back strongly in the next season.
