Hardik ready to win the World Cup –
After winning the IPL and being rewarded with the ‘Player of the Match’ award Hardik was speaking to the press where he spoke about India’s chances and how desperate he is about winning the T20 World Cup in Australia.
“Absolutely to win the World Cup for India no matter what happens,” Hardik said.
“I am gonna give it everything I have. Always been the kind of guy to put the team first. For me the goal will be simple: to make sure my team gets it the most.
“Playing for India has always been a kind of dream come true no matter how many games I have played. It has always been a pleasure for me to represent the country. The kind of love and support I have got it is only from the Indian team’s point of view. Long term, short term, I want to win the World Cup no matter what happens,” Hardik concluded.
Hardik ready to put behind the disappointment of the 2021 WC–
- Hardik has been struggling with the injuries in recent times and was forced to take a break.
- He endured a tough T20 WC campaign in UAE last year and struggled to cope with the demands, while his fitness issues were not at the peak
- However, with his latest performance, especially with the ball in the IPL 2022 final he is more than ready to put his disappointment from the 2021 WC behind him.

Hardik Pandya inspires GT to maiden IPL triumph –
- Hardik was seen in sensational form on Sunday evening as he guided GT to their maiden triumph.
- Hardik ended with figures of 17/3 in his four overs.
- With the bat, he contributed 34 runs and was seen desperate guide before falling prey to Yuzvendra Chahal.
- In the entire IPL campaign, Pandya scored 487 runs and scalped eight wickets, once again highlighting his all-around ability.
