- England last played in Pakistan in 2005, and they were scheduled to return last year, but they abruptly postponed their trip after New Zealand cancelled their tour due to safety concerns.

- The reigning T20 World Cup champions will kickstart their preparation to find their perfect playing XI by facing India in a three-match T20I series, beginning Tuesday in Mohali.
- For the visitors, eyes will be on their captain Aaron Finch whose form has been a hit or miss for past some time.
- Despite not enjoying that much of a good time with bat, Finch is still the world’s No.6 batter in T20 format and could hurt the opposition with his devastating skills.
