The Indian board will designate additional collection centers, apart from the stadium, in each city to allow fans to pick up tickets for the World Cup, which is set to begin on October 5.

The ICC ODI World Cup 2023 ticket sales are expected to begin online by August 10 according to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), once each staging association has finalized its ticket pricing.

Following a meeting with the state associations on Thursday in New Delhi, BCCI Secretary Jay Shah stated that the sale of tickets would only take place once the complete procedure had been followed. He requested that each state organization communicate their finalized ticket prices with the Indian board by July 31.

Shah had stated, however, that paper tickets will be required for fans to access the stadium for its major events.

As required, the ICC and BCCI will receive 300 complimentary hospitality tickets for each game. Additionally, the state will be required to give the ICC 1295 tickets for league games and 1355 tickets for the India games and the semifinals.

500 general tickets of ODI World Cup 2023 must be provided by the state association at no cost to the Indian board. The BCCI has advised the state to give extra hospitality tickets in the event that the ICC (250 hospitality and 1800 general tickets) and BCCI (300 hospitality and general stand seats each) decide to purchase more.

Each state association may acquire 40 tickets per game in excess of these limits, with the remaining 10% being purchased by the ICC tour partner.
