A comfortable uber drive is what we expect, but in her case, she had to deal with a “crazy” Uber driver who made her panic on a long drive to an OfflineTV party. Let’s know what was the incident. Basically, the attitude of the driver made her uncomfortable. As per her plans, she was going to meet DisguisedToast and as she was drunk she had booked an Uber from LilyPichu’s house, where she had New Year plans with Toast. Valkyrae got into the cab and to her disbelief the cab driver wasn’t wearing a mask.“I was already scared from being lost in the dark and then I get in this car and he’s raving and not wearing a mask. I felt terrified by him”, she said.

She was genuinely afraid because she couldn’t understand why a driver on duty behaved in such a weird manner. She couldn’t help but think of other bad intentions behind his “wild” behavior which made her feel unsafe. She even feared getting “kidnapped” or “being taken to a different country”.
Valkyrae provided details of the ride and continued,“He didn’t wear a mask, and was literally just talking at me for the whole ride — we’re in this car for like thirty minutes, driving — and he’s telling me he’s against vaccines, he doesn’t like masks, and all that kind of stuff. I just didn’t know what to say. So I kept agreeing ‘cause I was scared he might do something.”
She even opted for the “quiet preferred” option on the app, but this also didn’t stop the driver from talking rubbish. This amplified her anxiety and she wanted to get over with this ride and regretted booking a cab.“I hardly ride Ubers anymore, and I had to get this one. I had so much anxiety. It was scary! When he dropped me off I sprinted inside, so fast. So unsafe”, Valkyrae admitted.
Valkyrae had quite a bad experience and it’s good that she shared this incident. This might as well help people raise more awareness on such issues.
