Rahul KP nudged KBFC ahead a few minutes after the hour mark. KBFC looked to be winning it all inside 90 minutes but cometh the hour, cometh the man, Sahil Tavora with a peach of a goal in the dying minutes took it into extra time. It was leggy in extra time and seemed to be heading into penalties.
HFC were handed the advantage early when Kattimani saved the first pen and then he saved another. HFC scored 2 out of their first three and when Kattimani made it three saves out of 4, the experienced Halicharan Narzary kept his cool and scored to win it for HFC.
