Having hosted the event in 2018, Odisha is hosting the tournament for the second successive time. This year, a mega opening ceremony has been planned. It is scheduled to be held at the Braabati Stadium in Cuttack on 11th January 2023.
The show will feature live performances from actors Ranveer Singh and Disha Patani. Fans can also witness a concert by Music director Pritam, singers Benny Dayal, Neeti Mohan, Nakash Aziz. Blackswan, a K-Pop band will also enthrall the fans on the day. The tickets for the event is only available online. The sales began on 28th December, Wednesday.
How to buy tickets for the ‘Celebrations’
Tickets are available only at the Paytm Insider Website. Prices of the tickets will begin from Rs.250 onwards. Open the Paytm Insider App and select Hockey World Cup Celebration event from the events section. Click on Buy Now to grab the tickets.
Meanwhile, the tickets for all of India’s group stage matches are sold out. The hosts will begin their campaign on 13th January 2023. They will face Spain in the opening match at the Birsa Munda Stadium in Rourkela. They will then face England at the same stadium on 15th January. Their final group stage match against Wales will be played at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar on 19th January.
Meanwhile tickets for non-India matches are still available. Tickets cost Rs 500 for the West Stand, Rs 200 for the East Stand, and Rs 100 for the North and South Stand on non-India match days. Fans can buy the tickets online from Paytm Insider.
