Format:
16 teams are divided into four groups consisting of four teams each. The teams finishing the group stage at the top of the table will get a direct entry into the quarterfinals, while the teams finishing in the second and third spot will move to cross overs, with the winner qualifiying for the quarterfinals.

Pool A: Netherlands, Germany, Ireland, Chile
Pool B: England, New Zealand, India, China
Pool C: Argentina, Spain, South Korea, Canada
Pool D: Australia, Belgium, Japan, South Africa
Team India will be led by goal-keeper Savita Punia as regular skipper Rani Rampal will miss the entire tournament due to an injury. The Indian women’s team recently finished the FIH Pro League at third place and will look to carry forward that confidence into the World Cup. The team couldn’t go past the quarterfinals in the last edition at 2018 and will look to better that performance this year.
