Hockey Asian Champions Trophy Schedule: The seventh edition of the Hockey Asian Champions Trophy will get underway on 3rd August 2023. Six best teams in Asia will be in action in the tournament that will be played in Chennai till August 12. Chennai is gearing up to host an International Hockey event after 16 years. Six teams – India, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, China and Pakistan – will battle for supremacy in the tournament. All the six teams will be facing each other in the round robin stage that will begin on 3rd August 2023, Thursday.
Every match day in the round robin stage is set to feature three games. The matches will begin at 4 PM, 6.15 PM and 8.30 PM respectively. The tournament will kickstart with defending champion South Korea taking on Japan in the opening match. India will get their campaign underway later in the day. The hosts will face China in their first game.
India then faces Japan and Malaysia on 4th and 6th August respectively. The Men in Blue are set to take on defending champion South Korea on 7th August. The round robin stage will end on 9th August with the much awaited clash between Indian and Pakistan. All of India’s matches will begin at 8.30 PM.

- Third place play-off – 6.00 PM
- Final – 8.30 PM
After the round robin stage, the teams finishing in the top 4 spots will advance to the semifinals. Both the semifinal matches will be played on 11th August, Saturday. The teams finishing at the bottom two spots will also play in a fifth place play-off match on the same day. The final will be played the following day.
