Raducanu is currently ranked World No.76 and recently parted ways with her coach Dmitry Tursunov. After the US Open in 2021 in which she participated as a qualifier, she made a terrific jump in the rankings this year. She began the 2022 season which was her maiden full season on the WTA Tour with lot of expectations. However she failed to impress with poor form and injuries.
She is now looking to improve her performance in the upcoming season and according to a report from The Athletic, Raducanu is now in regular communication with Harry Kane. She is seeking inputs on how to operate in a sport at the highest level and approach life and handle scrutiny being a celebrity.

Emma Raducanu has always called Harry Kane as her role model and was also vocal about her support for Tottenham, a club in English Premier League that is captained by Harry Kane. She has trained in a Tottenham shirt previously and has spoken of her admiration for Kane, who will lead England at the upcoming World Cup in Qatar.
Earlier this year, ahead of the Wimbledon, she was asked about her favourite football player, she replied, “One of my favourite footballers is probably Harry Kane because he is the captain of England and he is such a great role model to follow and he is super professional and takes everything to the nth degree. I definitely feel like I can learn from that.”
It is not the first time Raducanu has seeked the advice from a sportsperson. Last year, she revealed about her conversations with Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton. “He’s just been really cool in helping me. He said, like, be patient. You know, you just got to ride the wave, it’s all good, like, don’t worry. Good reassurance. So yeah, he’s a really cool, cool guy,” she said on her conversations with Hamilton. Raducanu hopes her inputs from players like Kane will help her to bounce back stronger in the upcoming Tennis Season.
