Notably, AAP won the legislative election in Punjab earlier this month, beating Indian National Congress the party of another former Indian cricketer in Navjot Singh Sidhu. Led by Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab government has decided to send ‘Bhajji’ to the Rajya Sabha in order to ensure a holistic sporting development of the state.
