Hakimi has stayed positive and calm about the entire thing and he has denied the accusations. When asked his lawyer, Fanny Colin has said, “The accusations against him are false. He is calm and is at the disposal of justice.” According to reports, a close source inside the club has said that the club is standing beside the player who is confident about his innocence and has his trust in justice. They said that PSG promotes respect both on and off the pitch.
The reputation of the club has already taken a hit as after Hakimi, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has been accused of kidnapping and torture of Tayeb Benabderrahmane, an Algerian lobbyist. In Hakimi’s case, a 24-year-old woman reached the police station at Nogent sur Marne to report the details of Hakimi’s rape attempt on her. She said that she didn’t want to file any case, but prosecutors opened their investigation nonetheless.

According to the woman, Hakimi and her started speaking on Instagram and then she was invited Hakimi’s home on 25th February as his wife and children are out on vacation in Dubai. The woman has revealed that Hakimi then proceeded to rape her, but she she started kicking him and eventually got away from his reach. Getting away from the player’s home, she called a friend, who came to take her home.
Recently the player was awarded as one of the best players in the world by his inclusion in the FIFA FIFPRO World 11 team. The defender has had a good spell for both PSG and the Moroccan national team as Morocco reached the World Cup semi-finals last year. Following these accusations, the club has not ruled Hakimi out of their squad from their next Ligue 1 match against Nantes.
