PC owners who pre-ordered the upcoming remastered series of the GTA Trilogy got a weird surprise, as GTA The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition has been pulled away from the grasps of these players and the game remains unplayable — something that Rockstar Games nor Sony intended to happen after the game’s release date. It has been reported that PC users who got their pre-ordered GTA Trilogy Remastered found the Rockstar Games PC Launcher collapsed, and the game pulled down from the launcher. (Update: It’s back up now).Ahead of the GTA Trilogy Remastered launch, Rockstar had recreated the Internet’s favourite “Ah Shit, Here We Go Again” GIF, as well as several other scenes. Now three days after the launch, it seems as if this catch-phrase has actually caught on to Rockstar.

GTA Trilogy RemasteredThe game is still missing from the game’s official store page, meaning no one can buy it on PC right now as the game didn’t launch on Steam, only Rockstar’s store. Also, if you did buy it, you still can’t play it because it requires an internet connection via the Rockstar Games Launcher. The GTA trilogy remastered has had a very tough launch, with a lot of reports about graphical bugs, gameplay glitches, and other tweaks to the classic game from the PS2 era. But while players on Xbox one or PS5 or Switch are just facing these in-game glitches and bugs, players on PC are unable to play any of the games included in the collection.

GTA Trilogy RemasteredRockstar has, on the other hand, kept a mute on any comments or leaks regarding the fixes and the return of the game on their store. In the last update, Rockstar gave the reason that the GTA game remains unplayable as the company is removing files that were unintentionally included in these versions. It can be assumed that Rockstar and the developers behind the game are working hard to get these games back on the PC launcher.
