According to several reports, the development of the sixth Grand Theft Auto was already started before GTA 5 even released but Rockstar Games is yet to announce anything about its upcoming title. GTA 6 is expected to come with huge graphical improvements and Rockstar will surely take advantage of the power offered by the next-gen consoles. The professional leaker, Tom Henderson, recently suggested that GTA 6 might feature some sort of crypto currency integrated in the game. He said, “I heard recently that in GTA 6, some missions will reward you in bitcoin instead of cash for completing some missions. The stock market feature will return, with the addition of a broker for different crypto currencies.”

RockstarIntel.com recently revealed that Rockstar Games is currently working on the ongoing problem regarding cheats in GTA Online. It is expected that they will completely eradicate the long term issue of players using cheats and griefers. According to reports, GTA 6 will introduce a map of modern-day Vice City which will be based on Miami. Rumours also suggest that the sixth Grand Theft Auto is codenamed as ‘PROJECT AMERICAS’ and will feature both Rio de Janeiro and Vice City.

Rockstar games generally reveals a new GTA title almost two years before its release. As per Tom Henderson the game is definitely not releasing this year and will range from early 2023 to late 2025.
