GT marked their first victory of the year by five wickets after putting on an outstanding batting and bowling performance. Rashid Khan, Mohammed Shami, and Alzarri Joseph bowled astonishingly well to limit the opposition to a total of 178 runs. Shubman Gill, though, oozed quality after that and smashed a half-century. Afterwards, other hitters’ cameos enabled GT to defeat CSK and win the match by five wickets.

Who will be his opening partner now that Shubman Gill is in the best shape of his life? In the Titans’ maiden season, Wriddhiman Saha performed ok, scoring 317 runs and carrying the load on the powerplay.
Some middle-order muscle will be lost as a result of David Miller missing the second game due to national duty, and Matthew Wade is not a like to like replacement for the southpaw.
Gujarat’s strongest playing 11—which also has Matthew Wade, Hardik Pandya, and Rahul Tewatia—starts with Shubman Gill and Wriddhiman Saha.
It’s still in the air whether David Miller will play against DC or not because he will arrive in India latest by Monday after finishing the South Africa-Netherlands ODI series.
Rashid Khan, Yash Dayal, Alzarri Joseph, and Mohammed Shami will bowl for Gujarat in the interim.
Remember that there is a rule for Impact players now, and Hardik Pandya will decide whether batsman, bowler, or all-rounder to trust based on the pitch and playing circumstances that day. Right now, Sai Sudharsan or Jayant Yadav are favorites to come as the Impact player.
