Xiao has undoubtedly made many players fall in love with his gameplay and his personality. This article will provide you with some of the best builds for Xiao.
Xiao is one of the Adepti of Liyue who protects Liyue Harbour from monsters. Xiao had faced many problems in his life. That said, Xiao is having the potential to be the best DPS character in the game with a proper build. Let’s take a look at his skills first.
- Normal and Charged Attack: Xiao deals up to 6 consecutive attacks. He deals AoE attack DMG to the opponents in his plunging attacks. And his charged attack just like other Polearm users deals lunges.
- Elemental Skill: Xiao moves forward dealing Anemo based DMG to the enemies in his path. This skill can be used in mid-air.
- Elemental Burst: Xiao wears the Yaksha mask in his Elemental burst that increases his jumping ability, his attack Area of Effect, and his attack DMG. And converts attack DMG into Anemo DMG. However, for the duration, Xiao is wearing Yaksha’s mask. He keeps on losing his health.

- Two-Piece Viridescent Venerer: The 2 piece set bonus on this artifact are absolutely amazing. They increase his elemental skill and Elemental Burst DMG by 15%.
- Two Set Gladiators Finale: Gladiators Finale can again be one of the best artifacts ti increase the overall DMG.
The Stats of the artifacts should mainly focus on Atk%, Crit Rate, Crit DMG, and Energy Recharge. 150% – 200% Energy Recharge would be suitable for Xiao. Now, let’s take a look at suitable 5 and 4-star weapons for Xiao.
- 5 Star Polearm Options
– Primordial Jade-Winged Spear: This weapon is the absolute best for Xiao due to its high Base attack and its substate Crit Rate.

- Zhongli(Support): Zhongli is broken with his amazing Jade Shield. Zhongli can prove to be a very good asset against any kind of enemy.
- Bennet(Support): Undoubtedly, the best support character in the game. Bennet is also very beneficial with his DMG boost and high rate of healing.
- Venti(Anemo Support): Venti will be very beneficial for Xiao as he will produce a lot of Anemo Energy Particles, someone like Sucrose and Jean would also be very useful in this case. However, Venti is the best character for Anemo Support.
That said, these were the three teammates that personally like to use with Xiao. However, you can use him with some characters like Fischl, Sucrose, and Anemo Main Character. These characters provide a small buff even when they are not on the field.
