As announced in the Livestream, Genshin Impact will not only bring us a new character but reruns of the three of the most loved characters as well. Along with Shenhe, Xiao, Ganyu, and Zhongli will also be coming with their banner in the upcoming update. And this article will tell you some of the best ways to farm Primogems for these Upcoming character banners.
As we all know, four characters are coming in the upcoming 2.4 Genshin impact update. So for the players who can’t buy Genesis Crystals, some of the best ways to farm Primogems are listed below.
- Daily Commissions: Daily Commissions are the most common, fast, and efficient way to get free gems. And these missions reward up to 60 primogems every day. So make sure to complete these commissions.
- Hangout Quests and Story Quests: While completing the daily commissions, the travelers also collect the story keys. After completing 8 daily commissions, the players can claim 1 key. And these keys can be used to open the story and the hangout quests. The Hangout Quests require 2 keys to open while the Story Keys require one key. The Hangout keys can sometimes reward up to 90 Primogems once completed (including achievement Primogems). And the story quest rewards up to 70 Primogems upon completion.

Genshin Impact 2.4 Update: How to Farm Primogems for the Upcoming Banners?
- World Exploration: As all the players must know, Tevyat is a very huge place. And even though you might think you have explored all the places, that might not be true sometimes. So make sure to search for all the chests and oculi until you reach 100% exploration in all the regions.
- Events: A lot of events are going to surprise the players in the upcoming update. Moreover, currently, two quests are also going on in the game that can reward somewhat 700 primogems. So make sure to be a part of these events.
- Upgrading Statues of Seven: Upgrading Statue of Sevens may feel like a chore sometimes, however, the grind is absolutely worth it. With each upgrade, the Geo and Anemo Statue offers 10 primogems and in the case of Electro’s statue of the seven, each upgrade offers 600 Primogems. That makes a total of 800 Primogems.
- Opening Shrines of Depth: Another benefit of upgrading the Statues of the Seven. The players sometimes get rewarded by the shrine of depth keys. These keys are also obtainable via some quests and they reward 40 Primogems along with a luxurious chest.
- World Quests: These quests are spread all over Tevyat and are undoubtedly the best way for you if you want to farm primogems. Thes quest can surprise you with any kind of task. It can be fighting a horde of hilichurls, ruin guards, or even just getting the NPC stuff like berries. So make sure to look out for these quests while exploring Tevyat.
- Archon Quests: These quests are the main story that revolves around the main character and the archons. However, it is highly unlikely for an old player to not have completed these quests. And if you’re new to the game make sure to complete these quests to get a handful of Primogems.
