A report published by Sensor Tower, a data analyst firm Garena Free Fire has become the most downloaded game in the world for December month 2021.
Garena Free Fire from Garena was the most downloaded mobile game worldwide for December 2021 with close to 24 million installs, which represented a 28.2 percent increase from December 2020. The countries with the most installs of the app during this period were India at approximately 26 percent of its total downloads and Brazil at 12 percent. Garena Free Fire tops the chart of the most downloaded games for last month
Last month, Psyonix’s Rocket League SideSwipe was the second most downloaded mobile game in the world, with 21.6 million downloads. The United States had the most Rocket League Sideswipe installs at 27 percent, followed by Mexico at 5.9%. Subway Surfers, Poppy Rope Game, and Roblox rounded out the top five most installed mobile games.
In December 2021, the global mobile games market generated 4.9 billion downloads across the App Store and Google Play, up 1.8 percent year over year. India was the top market for global game downloads, with 717.4 million installs, or 14.8 percent of all downloads worldwide. With nearly 9% of all downloads, the United States came in second, followed by Brazil with 8.2 percent.
