Here’s what he has to say.

My personal opinion is that Garena is not doing enough for the game to come back. A lot of careers are at stake in the indian ecosystem. My advice would be to find an alternative career.

Yash is also looking at opportunities to change the region. Here’s what Yash has to say on the same.

we are planning to shift our lineup to either MENA or Nepal (whichever has a direct slot for world series). Even in the roadmap released by Garena, there is no TBD slot for India.

To all the guys grinding FF, there are a lot of new games coming up with better roadmaps. Its not 100% confirmed that the game will not come back but complete silence from the game developer is worrying.

We will do nationwide tryouts and make a 6 man roster to send abroad. Keep supporting and we hope to win the world series someday and return back all the love we have got from the FF community.

So, as of now, GOI as well as Garena are in complete silence. Although a few apps (linked Chinese server) returned, the possibility of Free Fire’s return is slim. However, anything is possible if Garena goes through severe changes. So, fans can do nothing but wait for any sort of clarity from either Garena or GOI. Meanwhile, readers can check out the arrival of a new title, Indus. So, stay tuned.
