BKC offers Francis Ngannou: UFC release: Francis Ngannou is officially out of the UFC and his heavyweight title is now vacant, for which Jon Jones and Ciryl Gane will compete at the main event of UFC 285. Dana White confirmed Ngannou’s exit as he claimed that the former champion ducked an offer that would have made him the highest-paid heavyweight fighter ever in the UFC. “More than [Brock] Lesnar”, as the UFC President said. However, Francis Ngannou decided to walk out and offer several offers, including the one from the Bare Knuckle FC right before him. BKFC President David Feldman expressed his interest in signing the UFC champion in a chat with the MMA Junkie.

Feldman said, “We’re very interested in signing Francis Ngannou and would very much like to have him compete in the stacked BKFC heavyweight division. We’re tabling an offer for his services, and hopefully, fans will see him in the BKFC squared circle in 2023.”

Akin to David Feldman and the BKFC, Scott Coker’s Bellator MMA is also interested in signing Francis Ngannou. Bellator MMA shelters several ex-UFC champions at the moment and Francis Ngannou can explore that option amidst several more beforehand.

Expressing his intentions of signing the ex-UFC champion, Coker said, “We haven’t talked to him because he’s still under contract, he still has championship fights but if he’s a free agent one day and you know the timing’s right, we feel it’s a good fit and you know we’ll decide that time,”

“The philosophy is still the same, look, if you’re a free agent and you want to come shop your wares and your brand and your business, come talk to us because we are in the business of signing the biggest and the best free agents on the planet.” (H/T:- Sportskeeda)

Meanwhile, Francis Ngannou can also consider making his boxing debut. Amidst so many options, it remains to be seen which path the former UFC champion chooses to walk on.
