A fix will be released with the next Fortnite patch, as Epic is currently investigating the cause of the problem.

A total of five skins from Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2 Battle Pass have been disabled by Epic. Brutus, TNTina, Meowscles, Skye, and Midas cosmetics were all disabled in the battle royale, however, the developers plan to restore them in the future.

Although it is unknown what caused the problem, it was easily perceived by any player who encountered it. According to one person, users of the Midas skin with gold reactive skin can crush anyone’s game if they keep pulling out Spiderman over and over. “And it works for everyone in the game.”
