Max was clearly in a big lead over the other drivers. Meanwhile, in the latter part of the race, Leclerc was pushing Perez to the limits for a P2 finish, but a small mistake led to disaster for Leclerc.

He went too hard on the chicane and thus saw himself bouncing and into the barriers. He was doing this just to be in the DRS range of Perez so that he could overtake him. But he pushed it way further. He then damaged his front left-wing and had to pit which dropped him to P8. But, in the end, he could only manage a P6 finish.

Charles Leclerc is leading the Drivers standings with 86 points. He has a lead of 27 points over second-placed Verstappen. Meanwhile, in the constructors’ standings, Ferrari still leads with 124 points. However, Red Bull have cut the deficit to just 11 points as they are second with 113 points.
