The Parisians were eliminated from the Champions League last Wednesday at the Allianz Arena after losing 2-0 to Bayern Munich. Journalist Romain Molina made the surprising accusation that a player showed up to the training session intoxicated in a video titled “PSG: If people (and the Emir) knew what was going on…”. Also, he was chosen by head coach Christophe Galtier to start the match against Thomas Muller and company. but was unable to assist the team in reaching the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals.

In his video, Molina made the allegation that a player who started at the Allianz Arena on Monday morning at 6 a.m. was intoxicated when he left the club two days prior to the game. He added that the same player left on both Saturday morning and Friday night, the day PSG was scheduled to play Nantes in Ligue 1. The reporter didn’t reveal who it was, though. According to Molina, the athlete who showed up to practise intoxicated was in a club till six in the morning.
Bayern Munich easily advanced to the Champions League quarterfinals while sending Paris St. Germain out of the competition again. Just after the hour mark, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting scored for the hosts against his former team, and late-arriving substitute Serge Gnabry added the finishing touches to a polished performance. The Ligue 1 champions and their under-fire head coach Christophe Galtier once again failed miserably as PSG was ousted from the league at this stage in five of their previous seven seasons.
