Recent rumors have suggested that Messi is unhappy at PSG, and the club is reportedly struggling to convince him to stay another season in Paris. Meanwhile, Barcelona has admitted that they are interested in bringing Messi back to the club, and insiders are suggesting that a deal could be possible.

According to Gerard Romero, a journalist for RAC1, Barcelona is working with important sponsors to re-sign Messi without breaching Financial Fair Play regulations. The Catalan club is reportedly looking for investors to help make the move possible by agreeing to deals that would see Messi’s salary topped up by a share of the commercial profits that he helps to generate.

If the deal were to go ahead, it would be a dream come true for Barca fans. The Argentine scored 672 goals for the club, helping them to 10 La Liga titles and four Champions League trophies during his time at Camp Nou.
