Brazil New Coach: There have been many rumours surrounding Real Madrid boss, Carlo Ancelotti that he could be sacked and he could next move to coach the Brazil national team. Many Brazil players have also spoken out about the matter and now the Brazilian and Real Madrid player Rodrygo has also spoken out. He has indicated that there could be some truth to the matter. Tite left his job as Brazil’s coach after their unsuccessful run in the 2022 Qatar World Cup. Since then, Ramon Menezes has been serving as the interim coach as the hunt for the right man for the job is still ongoing. Carlo Ancelotti is being considered as one of the strongest contenders for the role.
There are also rumours that Florentino Perez, Real Madrid’s President is unhappy with the results Ancelotti is bringing. Madrid has recently pulled on over Liverpool in the Champions League round of 16 and have progressed to the quarter-finals. However, they are 12 points behind the first-placed Barcelona in La Liga with 12 games left.
The Real Madrid boss’ contract ends in 2024. However, if the situation suggests, he could leave earlier. Even though Carlo Ancelotti hasn’t commented on the rumours, Brazil players have not refrained from speaking. Rodrygo spoke on the matter, “We talk more in a joking tone, but every joke has a little bit of truth. The situation there is difficult, you have to leave Real Madrid to come here. So I can’t say beforehand how it’s going to be, but of course it would be an honour to have him here.”
He added, “He knows how to deal with the group and the locker room, this is very important. Sometimes the coach doesn’t even need to be the best coach tactically, give the best speeches, the team already runs for him. He’s very good in the locker room and that makes a difference.”

During the UEFA draw for the Champions League quarter-finals, Real Madrid drew against Manchester City. Manchester City and Bazil goalkeeper, Ederson has also spoken on the matter. He said, “I was discussing this with Casemiro, Vinicius Junior, Militão. There is a big possibility that he comes.”
He even joked about beating Real Madrid in the Champions League, so Ancelotti can take the job as Brazil’s coach. He added, “What I’ve been told about him is that he’s an exceptional coach, that everyone in the group likes, he’s a guy who has a very successful career, just look at his CV. We will see in the near future if he will be here or not.”
