After having successfully hosted the last edition in 2018, India will once again play host to the multi-national event for the second successive time. 16 teams are set to participate in the event and 44 matches are scheduled to be played across Bhubaneshwar and Rourkela.
All the teams have started their final preparations ahead of the kickstart of the event. The group stage matches in the tournament are scheduled from 13th to 20th January 2023. On the first day of the tournament, as many as four matches are scheduled to be played. The day will begin with Argentina squaring up against South Africa at the Kalinga Stadium in Bengaluru. The match is scheduled to begin at 1.PM.
It will be followed by Australia vs France at the same venued. Later in the day, England and Wales will lock horns against each other. Hosts India will take centrestage in the final contest of the night at the Birsa Munda Stadium in Rourkela. The will face Spain at 7 PM.
16 teams are divided into four groups comprising four teams each. Following the group matches, Top 2 teams from each group will make it to the quarterfinals. Quarterfinal matches will be held on 24th and 25th January.
Semifinals is scheduled to be played on 27th January, while the final will be played at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar on 29th January, Sunday.
